Have you ever had that "awakening" moment? ...and more importantly, what did you do about it?

It feels like you've been dreaming for half your life and suddenly... *BAM*... it hits you like a brick from the clear sky... things just make more sense, you have a clarity in what you want to do with your life, or what you don't want to do with it. Or just generally what you'd like to do in regards to day to day stuff, or what you want more of.

...it's a valid question: if not now, when?

For me those moments hit me usually around 2 / 4AM. I might wake up bawling my eyes out and feel crystal clear clarity, then fall asleep and wonder what on earth happened during the night. Sometimes I act upon these "epiphanies", sometimes I let them brew a bit longer, sometimes I drop them. But most importantly, I act upon the most powerful epiphanies to test the waters instead of stagnating and being too afraid of trying things out. Sometimes those moments hit me after having some quality alone time, and oh boy, that feeling is

p r e c i o u s. And I'm just burning to make a move. To try, to experiment, and to succeed or fail. And then try again, differently.

Usually it's the big scary things that wake us up... God forbid, a loved one falls sick, you fall sick, or difficult times happen.

I've always believed in finding a silver lining and riding the pain. Feeling your emotions can be a big strenght and asset vs. bottling everything up and it hitting you in the face much later. Because it needs to come out... at some point. It might express itself through sadness, depression, sickness, neckpain, a physical injury or weight gain. Our bodies work in mysterous ways, but...

...it's all interlinked. It wants your attention... Body - Mind - Soul.

In many and probably through most of my lows, my most diffult moments, I've chosen to recognize the opportunity I have to both ride the emotion out, fight back and flip the shitty situation in my advantage. Also recognizing it wasn't meant for me this time. Accepting those situations will propel you forward to someting better. L e t i t g o.

You can do it.

1 / Not getting into my 1st choice business school, in fact my only imagineably choice in Finland. Instead I moved to Switzerland and got admitted to one of the best hospitality management schools in the world where I had the time of my life...

2 / My mom getting sick when I was 6years old has created a strong interest for health which I use today to help others, and myself.

3 / When I got ghosted by my ex boyfriend overnight some 2 1/2 years back, I started seeing a health coach and two months later enrolled to certify myself as a holistic health coach. At that same time I met my current, absolutely wonderful boyfriend. The stars somehow align when you stop forcing things and you open yourself up to experiencing something n e w.

4 / When I had a miscarriage, it made me see life and my body from a totally different perspective. More precious, more powerful. I used the pain and channeled it to get fitter than I've ever been. I also think people should talk more about it to normalize it. Because it happens, and actually quite a bit.

Now it's your turn... What's your silverlining? ... and how do you plan to use it in your advantage, for your growth, fulfillment and joy ?
