Why having a lenghty routine is not the solution

Whether we're talking morning/evening routines, skin care or eating regimen - I don't believe complexity works.

For morning/evening routines a lenghty routine can be tiring and drain you vs. energize you.

So keep it short and productive. Every day doesn't need to look the same and I'd strongly suggest not to keep the same tempo every day.

When we're talking Skin care, I'd summarize my recommedation in one sentence: Go clean.

What I mean is: Don't go to bed wearing make-up, make sure to gently cleanse evening and morning. When you wear make-up, wear an option that doesn't clog. And do opt for sunscreen, your future self will thank you.

What's huge for skincare is what you eat.

And that you keep the veg in your diet to fight inflammation which creates breakouts. Drinking water to flush out the toxins is another classic which will never go out of fashion.

I don't believe in pricey products except collagen, where I spend roughly 50€ on one jar which lasts a few months -> this guy Resultime

Healthy eating, same deal -> Go clean. If you want to get more clarity of mind, feel more energized, lose weight, maintain weight or work on a healthier lifestyle; the same policy applies. What I mean here is to: Eat whole foods (non-packaged) and keep your plate balanced. Sometimes raw, sometimes cooked - and in principal foods with little preparation time to avoid cooking and heat brining the glycemic index (GI) up. Why I emphasize the point on the GI is because that can give you an unstable bloog sugar, uneven energy levels and can trigger unwanted cravings.

Restriction is not sustainable so let yourself have the unhealthier treats on a weekly basis with a 80/20% principal not to get out of balance completely. 80% healthy, 20% indulgent. What can also be interesting to explore is to go the home-made dessert route that lets you experiment and exchange more harmful ingredients for better and even tastier ones.

Keep your eyes out! I'll share that next.

Lastly, steer clear of distractions, be mindful in all your routines to really capitalize on the positive benefits of single-minded focus. Less cortisol (the stress hormone), more creativity, more satisfaction. Try it out!
